Mrs Katherine Yap has always been passionate about baking...
In the early days, she did her baking from home and shared her creations with relatives and friends. As overwhelming demand for her cakes and pastries grew, what started as a hobby soon became a business when Dino Cake House & Cafe was set up at Upper ThomsonRoad in 1993.
Katherine has more than 30 years of experience in baking & cooking. Till date, she still oversees the operations herself to ensure the quality is not compromised. Dino Cake House& Cafe has gained a reputation over the years and has been a household brand name for many who live particularly in the north of Singapore. Dino’s main “stars” are the famous “mouth watering” sugar rolls, lip smacking mee-siam and its scrumptious pastries.
Dino Cake House & Cafe has also been featured in the media. In programs such as Makansutra, Coffee Talk & Hawker Woks, Life! The Straits Times, The Sunday Times,The New Paper, UFM 100.3 etc.We are a 100% family owned and operated cake house….every product made with home-made goodness and love.
